In this position, I am well-versed in multiple digital platforms, including social, streaming and online. I have been able to utilize my skills to be aggressive in breaking news and dive deeper into content buckets that interest me. I was promoted to a digital content producer from TEGNA's producer-in-residence program.

As a digital content producer, for SJGCMedia.com I was responsible for reviewing, managing, and publishing student work to the page. The multimedia platform shows content produced by all students at Florida A&M University's School of Journalism and Graphic Communication.

WCTV NEWS INTERN
As an intern with WCTV, I worked with producers and helped them produce and write scripts. I also helped them create graphics and lower thirds for their shows as well.

TEGNA/ KTHV11 PRODUCER INTERN
Being an intern at KTHV11 has given me an amazing opportunity to grow as an individual in journalism. In my role, I filled in for veteran producers and produced their assigned newscasts. I also wrote scripts that catered toward the Little Rock, Arkansas Audience.

As an associate producer of FAMU TV 20, I work closely with the producer to produce and write stories for the live newscast. My work also focuses on editing video that visually fits the story.

As a staff writer for Journey Magazine, I capture the voices of the student body on certain issues affecting the Black community. My stories also cater to specific characteristics and activities of the Black community.

As a radio personality for WANM 90.5, I highlighted the voice and influence of jazz music in today's music. I also bridged the gap between a younger audience and older audience so that all people can enjoy jazz and its authenticity.
